I am currently looking to purchase a Grand L4330 HST w/ cab. I have concerns with the ability of the tractor to handle the AC load while using implements such as a rotary cutter, frontend loader, posthole digger, etc... Will this small engine be able to perform well under these conditions? The reason we chose Kubota was becasue they are the only mfgr that offers a cab in this class. Do we need to consider a larger HP tractor for cab and air?
Another concern is electrical. I own a RTV900 that has experienced problems with the temperature gauge that the dealer in unable to fix. The dealer stated Kubota is looking into the problem but does not have a solution at this time. Has anyone experienced this type of issues with the L4330 or similar tractor?

Kubota first introduced the air conditioned cab to the compact tractor industry in the 90's. The first model had a problem with the circulating fan and they offered an update for it and it cured the problem. I can't remember having to recharge a system to date or to have any electric problems. ....

Do you feel that the HP of the L4330 is adequate to handle the load of the AC compressor while utilizing the PTO driven implements and/or front end loader? We have heard comments from other tractor dealers that the AC compressor will drag down the small Kubota cab tractors. ....

I bet they don't have a cab to offer with air! Wait until they catch up to Kubota in a few years and then they will tell you different. Read between the lines a little, if they offer it on the 3430 then you should have more then enough to play with! What do you feel you have to do that would draw so much power that there would be trouble? ....

Art ,Thanks for your input. We just had concerns with this being a large purchase (over 30K total) that we were making the right choice.
If anyone out there OWNS one of the Grand L's with a Cab and is not a dealer we'd like to hear from you. ....

I have a L4310 HSTC which is the same basic machine, just one generation older.
See my pictures 11 & 12.
I have absolutely no problem with the A/C loading up the machine or causing excess heat. In fact the only way I have found to over-heat the machine is to block the radiator, it's clear nothing I've been able to do to it will make it hot.
I also have some smaller units with cab & A/C. See my picture 6. Those machines are a mix of aftermarket & factory cabs, all the factory cabs have A/C. They are the same way, the load of the A/C is not even noticeable.
